Correct storage and containment of wastes and
materials on your site, will ensure compliance with the relevant
waste, environmental and health and safety legislation.
Best practice and certain key legislation (for example,
the Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001)
demand that liquids are stored in bunded tanks, areas or units.
Generally the bund needs to have a volume equivalent to 110% of
the largest container or 25% of the aggregate volume of the containers
stored, whichever the greater.
The storage unit or tank must be made of material
compatible for your wastes and materials (such that spillages do
not cause adverse reactions) and depending on the location, secure
and lockable access.
Eco Technology Limited provide an extensive range
of bulk tanks, bunds, skip trays and storage units (suitable for
small 25 litre containers, right up to multiple 1000 litre IBC bunded
units).
Alternatively we can offer civil works to construct
bunded areas, tank farms and tailor made storage solutions to meet
your needs.
