Learning Objectives Each training session is tailor made to our customer, the attendees, the desired learning objectives and the products and wastes used on site. We invest many hours ahead of the actual training date(s) refining the content, slides, handouts and exercises. We will always include our customers' company procedures, site plans, and internal documents wherever relevant. Our trainers work extremely hard to make even the most difficult topics interesting and accessible to all attendees. Attendees The sessions are typically designed for up to 20 attendees. Attendees would need to have basic literacy skills (unless the course is specifically tailored to include detailed technical information for selected staff and higher level management, which would then demand good literacy and academic ability). Delivery Format Delivered in house (unless requested otherwise) to minimise disruption to the working day Duration typically 4 - 5 hours (depending on content) but 1 - 2 day courses available Verbal presentation together with overheads and visuals Group discussion, interactive session and final questions Video presentation Handouts (typically comprising copy overhead slides and other relevant resources) Practical exercises involving example paperwork, documents, equipment and products (as appropriate) Written assessment for attendees Assessment We recommend that the training should be completed with an assessment to verify understanding. Training will be certified for individual attendees successfully completing the short answer and multiple choice questions (questions, content and pass mark to be agreed with the customer). Attendees must complete the questions without assistance or reference to their handouts or notes. Questions will be tailored to the site and requirements. Marked assessments will be returned for staff records and provide excellent evidence of training and understanding under any internal or external audit process.
